So i'm growing two basil plants in my window and quite frankly I have been really neglecting them. I started out really good watering them twice a day, giving them plenty of sunshine. ..But I fell off and when I got home yesterday from canvassing they were knocked over. One on the floor the other on my night table. there had been a crazy rain storm and my window was open. I now see the abuse and neglect there pots crusted over, no trace of moisture, their leaves droopy slightly turning color .. How many times do we as Christians have these expirences of doing really good and then fall of??? How many times does God have to allow us to be knocked over by Life's storms. just to get our attention?? share your responses.

ReplyDeletethanks Luther :)
Wow, that's deep. Really something to think about...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting that a similar happened to me with my radishes that were on my windowsill, except I ended up neglecting them so much that they died from thirst. I'm glad God is not like that with us. In Revelation 21:16 he says that he will give us that thirst of the water of life freely. God never forgets about us and we can always drink when we are thirsty, all we need to do is go to Him for water. I am so thankful for that :)
